Wicked ideas: mixed media artwork

This is an unframed mixed media artwork on Hahnemuhle Bamboo or Fabriano Mixed media heavy weight paper. The work uses collage, paint, ink and oil pastel. The colours are blue/grey/mauve, buff, deep green and medium blue, with **fluorescent pink and yellow accents. The work is 10cm x 15cm, with a 4.5cm black matt; it is signed on the front, and again on the back, along with the title and date.

**Fluro paints are hard to scan or photograph - this is as close as I can get but the original work may be a little brighter than shown on your screen.

As with all my landscapes and daily faces, these works are a response to my inner world, my emotions and my memories. I create in series, working across multiple images, layering collage, stencils and paint, before adding final line work.

I have an Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity (Honours) from The Learning Connection. My work can be found in private collections worldwide, and I have exhibited in Italy (2010) and throughout New Zealand.
