Original Limited Edition Linocut print.
“Bounty!”.
Varied** Limited Edition of 16.
**Variations include either lime green background or grass flecked, and red or black borders.**
All prints are numbered, titled and signed.
Individually handprinted Linoprint using the Reduction method, with 6-7 colour layers.
Printed on Fabriano Rosaspina paper 220gsm, with hand-deckled edges.
Cranfield Caligo safe-wash, oil-based inks.
Paper size approx 250 x 310mm
Print area approx 180 x 210mm
Reduction printing is when a block is cut into with small chisels and a layer of colour is printed on all editions. Then more is cut away, and a second colour printed on top. Repeating this process until the desired number of layers and depth is built up, by which time the block is destroyed, and the Edition is complete.
As these are all individually handprinted, each print has very slight variations, making them even more one of a kind, and this Edition has 3-4 variations in the border, dress and hands.
Print comes unframed.
