Kamahi Earrings.
The two shades of grain are visible here, the lighter grain came from inside the centre of the log.
The earrings are 7.5cm long, 1.15cm wide, and 6mm thick.
Finished with copper fittings and hooks, protected against oxidation with varnish.
I have sanded the timber, used an oil for the wood, made and varnished the fittings.
