"Naive Nouveau" unique fibre art
Just in time for Christmas gifting! A companion to "Yuletide Deco", these fibre artworks are 'naive' in style, that is, the stitching is very basic and deliberately imperfect.
Bright pink, mauve and scarlet stylised roses and leaves (a la Charles Rennie Mackintosh) are stitched with knitting and embroidery wool, and outlined with black. Framed in a simple white frame with a stand, or could be hung on the wall.
Main colours: Pink, mauve, green, black
Method: mainly long stitch and tent stitch.
Fibres: Embroidery cotton and wool
Canvas: Aida cloth
Size: Frame 10 x 15 cm
Display: Plain white frame has a stand attached
