Art journal page - trust your gut...

This is an unframed mixed media art journal page on Ranger mixed media heavy weight paper. The page uses paint, water soluble pencil, ink, stamped images, Dylusions collage images and magazine collage. The work is 21cmx29cm, with rounded corners. There is no border round the work; the title, date and signature are in pencil on the reverse.

As with my collages, landscapes and daily faces, art journal pages are a response to my inner world, emotions and memories. Often the quote I use reflects how I am feeling at the time; I describe my art journals as a "place to download my head".

I have an Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity (Honours) from The Learning Connection. My work can be found in private collections worldwide, and I have exhibited in Italy (2010) and throughout New Zealand.
