Big Bunny's Blue Larkspur

These gorgeous cottage flowers have a deep purplish-blue spike of flowers, with the occasional surprise pink one (hello natural genetic diversity!). Larkspur is a type of delphinium, but it is annual rather than perennial. It makes up for this by self seeding readily, popping up year after year.

Larkspur are a cottage garden staple and make a lovely cut flower. They look great massed or mixed with other perennials and annuals. They're even good when they pop up amongst your veggies, attracting pollinators and not overpowering their neighbours.

Sow direct in spring - press them onto the soil surface and barely cover. They're happy in full or part sun, and will reach a height of 30-50cm.
