Ancient Swamp Kauri Coffee Tamper (58mm)

What you see before you is a genuine Ancient Swamp Kauri handled coffee tamper.
It’ll definitely make a beautiful addition to your coffee paraphernalia. The kind of thing to add some extra class to your coffee making ritual. :)

This piece of Kauri has an amazing subtle grain, with a shimmering/feathering effect showing through in different light. The photos don't do it justice.

It’s a really solid piece, weighing in at just under 300 grams. The base is a 58mm flat tamper made from heavy stainless steel that I've buffed to a mirror finish.
Also, the handle can be unscrewed so you can wash the base separately.

The handle has a simple oil finish to leave a more natural look. This also helps to protect the wood from the acids in coffee grounds and hands during everyday use.
Simply apply some furniture oil, or a product like Neopol etc. every now and then, to maintain the finish.

This is built to be used, not just to make your coffee station pretty. But it’ll definitely do that as well. :D
