Synchronicity: original mixed media artwork

This is an unframed mixed media artwork on Hahnemuhle Bamboo or Fabriano Mixed media heavy weight paper. The work uses collage, paint, ink and pencil. The colours are predominantly soft pink, grey and mauve, with strong magenta, turquoise and deep blue, with a touch of metallic. The work is 11cm square and there is an approx. 15mm white border round the work; it is signed in pencil on the front, with the title and date on the back.

As with my landscapes and daily faces, these small works are a response to my inner world, my emotions and my memories. I create in series, working across multiple images, layering collage, stencils and paint, before adding final line work.

I have an Advanced Diploma of Art & Creativity (Honours) from The Learning Connexion. My work can be found in private collections worldwide, and I have exhibited in Italy (2010) and throughout New Zealand.
