Woolly Treasure Bowl
A beautiful and unique treasure bowl handmade with white NZ wool by wet felting and decorted with naturally dyed fabric with eucalypt and pohutukawa leaves from my garden as well as golden yuga silk fibres.
This gives the outside of the bowl a light apricot ,dusty pink and darker redish brown hues.
At the inside inside dyed mint green merino wool was used.
It's the perfect sized, versatile bowl to keep small items like jewellery, buttons, hair ties or found objects or use it as a tiny flower vase by inserting a fitting glass jar.
• Handmade with 100% NZ Merino wool and silk
Measurements (approx.):
Height - 10cm
Width - 11cm
Care instructions:
It should not need washing as wool naturally repels dirt and odour.
Shake or brush gently to remove dust.
However, it can be gently washed in warm water by hand. It should then be well rinsed, excess moisture can be removed by gently pressing a tea towel inside with a towel underneath.
The bowl generally holds its shape and only needs slightly reshaping before being left to dry naturally ( or it can be lightly stuffed with newspaper/cloth whilst drying).
