This Hand carved Toki piece has been cut and shaped out of a very rare Native New Zealand Matai burl
It has been selected from the burl from the tree for its beautiful Grain, Colour and fire
This piece is 95mm long x 25 mm at the widest point.
This piece has had Black Mica resin added to fill the cavities and form the Toki adze shape.
They are also sealed in Non Toxic Polymer resin to protect and buffed with Carnauba Wax to last for many years
This is a one off unique piece made from a very rare, valuable Timber
