This is a Gaboon Ebony handled Majestic razor with Chrome fittings and Gold TN inlay.
It is compatible with Gillette Mach3 refills which makes it quite versatile.
Gaboon Ebony has a solid, smooth feel to it.
The grain is extremely dark, almost black, with some slightly lighter brown strips if you look hard enough. It polishes up very nicely.
This razor has a very elegant and premium look to it. Would be a nice addition to the bathroom with a little added class.

Although Gaboon Ebony is now on the endangered list and can no longer be logged/harvested and exported (thankfully), there are still existing timber stocks worldwide.
Once these run out though, that will be it. As expected, it is becoming more rare and expensive.
