Ancient Swamp Kauri Live edge Trinket Bowl
This Turned Trinket bowl has been turned out of very rare Ancient Native New Zealand Swamp Kauri
The Kauri has been sourced from The root Nodule of the mighty Kauri which had been extracted from the far North of New Zealand.
It was extracted from a Peat Swamp in the Kaikohe reigon. This Kauri in this site has been Carbon dated at just over 40,000 years old.
The stunning Grain has beautiful figured grain and fire which is a play of light unique to this Kauri
I have left it rustic live edge to enhance the rugged beauty of this piece.
It Stands at 50mm high x 230mm at the longest point. The turned bowl rebate is 80mm diameter x 30mm deep.

This is a one off unique piece made from a very rare valuable Timber which you wont see anywhere else.
