Blueberry earrings: vintage, deep-blue lucite globes on bronze earwires

Fat, juicy-looking blueberries dangle from gracefully arched, bronze coloured ear-wires.
The part of the blueberries is played by vintage lucite beads. Lucite is a type of acrylic, and is very lightweight. These beads are a deep, sapphire blue in colour, with a 'moonglow' effect: a reflective centre, almost like a cat's eye bead, which makes the beads seem luminous.
The little berry dangles are wire-wrapped with small, leafy, antiqued-brass coloured bead-caps which form the tops of the berries.
These fun earrings measure 50mm from top to bottom. The berry dangles are approximately 19mm long, including the wire-wrapping, and the lucite beads are 12mm wide. The kidney-shaped ear wires are copper based and are without nickel, so most sensitive ears should be fine wearing these.
