Welcome to The Cabin
An altered book journal or Grimoire created using second-hand, repurposed, found and recycled items, starting with a beautiful German language book about the four seasons.

This journal is 28.5cm (11 1/4 ") high x 20.5cm (8") wide with a 8cm (3 1/4") spine
It contains 5 signatures and approx 180 pages
Each signature has a beautiful embroidered design on the front page
There are numerous envelopes, pockets, tucks and tags throughout.
From the makers letter (a letter to the journals rightful owner from me, the maker):
'The Cabin calls for pause, a slowness in every interaction you initiate with the page, it has been created to ensure the manifest of such. This is not a journal to skip through in haste, rather one that calls for consciousness, ritual, a sure and steady hand. Honour it in this way and it will become a much loved and trusted confidant.'
