Koro of the sea - Coaster Set of 4

A unique statement for your coffee table! These coasters are hand made by me! and each set is original and fabulous for any coffee drinking connoisseur or hey maybe a cheeky wine or beer perfect for jazzing up the place when you have guests over.

I have always loved the meaning behind Koru and thought it fits well with the way a wave curls into itself before crashing to shore bringing land and sea together as one in this unique koru and ocean inspired series. The Koru is a spiral shape based on the appearance of a native New Zealand silver fern and it has come to symbolise growth, strength and new life. The word itself means 'loop' in Maori, and as the fern unfurls, it also has connotations with constant movement and growth, all the while remaining connected to one original point.

Details: 10cm round, resin & mdf coaster with cork backs x 4, food safe.
All items are lovingly gift wrapped in tissue and protected with bubble wrap. ( hand wash only, wipe surface with a soft wet cloth don't submerge in water)
