This kete is hand woven with NZ flax which has been dyed green. It is commenced with a whiri (plait) and is an open weave. Long ends from the top edge have been frayed for a wispy effect. The actual kete measures 27 x 22 cm, but including handles and frayed ends measures 70cms. Looks lovely hanging as piece of natural NZ wall art.
