Lambs wool hand woven hooded-scarf

The wool for this weave has been hand dyed naturally with avocado (by me) to produce this adorable pink hue (grey wool factory dyed). The original white natural wool is used as a contrasting highlight. This 100% lambs wool comes from a farm a few k's down the road from me in the South Wairarapa (Palliser), who process all of their fibre in NZ. The twill pattern of this weave allows the fibres to sit closer together, combined with the hooded design, should give a warm and impenetrable covering for the wearer.

The extra wide scarf has a centre section hand stitched together creating a hood, the remaining lengths of scarf can be wrapped or draped as normal. A traditional-look woven item with a new way of wearing.
