This beautiful one-off sculpture is handmade ceramic, glazed with high quality, colorful velvet underglazes. Inspired by the idea of the "Green Man", or occasionally the "Green Woman", a legendary being primary associated with the symbol of rebirth, representing the cycle of regrowth that occurs every spring, and often portrayed with a human-like face surrounded by leaves and vines. This sculpture invokes the elements of earth, water and wood through the symbolic use of seashells, leaves, vines, and bark-like texture.
This sculpture is ready to hang on the wall and is meant for interior rooms only.
