Red Custom-made Superhero Cape

These custom-made and personalised superhero capes invite their owners to unlock their confidence, creativity, energy, and inner hero. Perfect for their next birthday, or a thoughtful gift to celebrate a special occasion or milestone.

These capes are made completely by hand using robust fabrics that won’t pill or stretch out of shape (like felt or satin) as well as various reinforcing techniques to make sure they stand up to even the most energetic of superheroes.

Colours available include: red, blue, green, pink, and purple. This listing is for a RED cape, please see my other listings to purchase a cape in a different colour. Each cape has a number of prints available for the contrasting lining (as pictured). Capes come with a standard yellow star burst behind a navy blue letter.

Please leave me a note with the child’s initial you would like on the cape, as well as your choice of contrasting lining. (If no instructions are given, I will choose a complimentary option.) Because these capes are made-to-order, current turnaround for construction is up to two weeks before being dispatched. If your order is urgent please let me know, and I will try my best to meet your deadline.

Each cape measures approximately 57cm from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem (72cm in total) and are 59cm at their widest point. Fabric composition: 100% cotton fabric with polyester appliqué backing.

I take my commitment to sustainability very seriously, as well as my reputation for presenting your treasures beautifully and with supreme attention to detail. Your cape will be packaged in tissue paper and posted in courier bags made from recycled plastic; however, please let me know if you would like a home-compostable courier bag used as I have them available as well. Other packaging materials include stickers and a handmade card and swing tag constructed from paper and cardboard.

Every superhero cape is hand-made with care in the small coastal town of Raglan, New Zealand by an experienced sewist and mother to two little superheroes of her own.
