100 year old piano key earrings with a twist

These beautiful earrings are made from Sterling silver with recycled Ebony and Guitar strings.

These are made from a 100 year old piano, that had unfortunately decayed beyond repair, made from the ebony keys that were still intact. Ebony is one of hardest woods around and it has the unique quality of achieving a stone like smoothness when polished.

I also used guitar strings as a detial on the earring, it is the cross section of the string.

These earrings are beautiful tiny sculptures that you can wear.

Whats great about these

-the fittings are made from 0.8mm round Sterling silver, shaped by me (Matt)

-beeswax finished

-they are super light you can wear these all day without discomfort.
