Anzac Poppy Brooch

This wee ceramic poppy is for commemorating Anzac day. Sadly, due to current lock down measures in New Zealand, we will be unable to buy our usual ones that are for fundraising. I thought that this was very sad and have decided to make as many of these as you guys need. All the profits will go to the RSA and I will post these out to you when we are allowed out of our bubbles. In 2018 my sister and I were honoured to win the Supreme Award for World of Wearable Art with a piece that commemorated the 100th anniversary of World War 1. We made over 1000 ceramic poppies that went onto this artwork and I will be remaking them to order for you so that we can remember this profound part of our countries history at home. The wee poppy measures 3cm diameter is made of a red coated terracotta clay with small matt black glass seed beads in the middle and has a small pin and loop fitting on the back. It comes packaged on a commemorative card. I will be accepting orders until end of this ANZAC weekend and then making them by hand and popping them into the post to you as soon as I am allowed to!
