I couldnt resist trying this commercial pattern from Issey Miyaki .
I usually draft my own patterns but the very geometric construction of this one had me intrigued....what would it be like made up ? Basically a small blanket with sleeves !
Plus the fact that Ive always loved Issey's designs.
So this one of a kind shrug jacket is made from upcycled fabrics , all with an unused past.
Two beautiful, top quality wools and a lighter khaki cotton.Tie belt also in one of the wools.
Needs to be worn with a belt to stay on as the construction doesnt include shaping for the shouldes......very much a shrug !
