New Zealand Greenstone/Pounamu Koru earrings

New Zealand Greenstone or Pounamu earrings hand made triangular design with a hand engraved Maori koru design, the two shapes make a great contrast. The koru design symbolizes spiritual growth and new beginnings. Little pieces of New Zealand treasure or Taonga. Hung on sterling silver earring hooks.

They hang 4.5 cm or 1.75 inches down from the top of the hook.
The stones measure 2.3cm x 1.9cm and 3-4mm thick

Greenstone or Pounamu is found only in Westland, in the South Island of New Zealand.
Maori believe Greenstone it is a peace stone. Bringing healing properties of renewal, courage, strength & justice. It is known also a heart chakra stone..making it a nice gift for a loved one.
