Solid bronze Koru Pendant on black adjustable cord~New Zealand Art jewellery

New Zealand koru design with a contemporary feel. Hand crafted in pure bronze with a highly polished finish.
Bronze is a timeless metal used for it's strength & beauty since the 'Bronze Age' it has a similar colour to gold and it deepens with age to a burnished bronze. It will arrive highly polished.

Designed & crafted by my partner & I in our unique New Zealand style and finished by hand in our little workshop in Ben Ohau, the South Island New Zealand.
The Maori koru design is an iconic NZ symbol that brings renewal of the spirit and growth. It represents nature & inspires new ideas & adventures. A symbol of the fern frond and the ocean waves.

This slightly domed piece really stands out & captures the light.
This is a very sculptural piece with a 3D feel & no hollowed out parts. lovely to touch.
Bronze is very hard wearing and can be polished with a soft cloth and a little jewellery cleaner when needed. The colour will slowly deepen to a burnished bronze which is also very attractive, but is easily polished back to bling.

Hung on a thick black adjustable cord with secure slip knots, 38-65cm in length.
Can be hung on a bronze chain if preferred.

Measures 3.6cm tall & 3.4cm across..

Will be sent in a gift pouch with a card describing the material and the symbolism of the design.

Items within NZ are sent by Courier post which usually takes 2-3 days to arrive within NZ.
Overseas parcels are sent standard post and can take 2-3 weeks to arrive in the Northern hemisphere. Or please ask for an upgrade to DHL, this takes 6-10 days to arrive in the Northern Hemisphere.
Items are safely packaged in cardboard and recycled materials.
All parcels are tracked and You will receive a tracking number.
