Classic Flower Implosion Pendant with Chain

This pendant features a single flower captured in a drop of clear glass.
Each flower is a one of a kind created by using a technique called implosion. Tiny dots and stripes of coloured glass are painted onto a clear disc of glass, which is then carefully heated to pull the colours into a flower form. The shape of the glass is free formed to highlight the floral design, and a glass bail is added for hanging the pendant. As soon as the flower has been created, it is placed in a digitally controlled kiln for several hours to anneal, strengthening the glass.
The pendant will come with a 32 inch 2.4 mm round stainless steel ball chain. Cord, brass and sterling silver chains are also available on request (please message me for pricing). Or of course you can swap out the standard chain it comes with for your personal favourite.
Dimensions: 49 mm top to bottom x 20 mm at widest point.
