Aqua and Pink Lampwork Glass and Sterling Silver Floral Earrings

These little earrings are a classic design featuring beautiful flowers against a plain colour background. The flowers are encased beneath a layer of clear glass giving them depth and enhancing the colours. These earrings are finished with sterling silver and dangle approximately 31 mm from the top of the ear wires. The little bead measures approximately 16 mm round.

Each glass bead is hand crafted one at a time over a flame using glass from Italy. The foundation begins as a tiny white barrel that is covered in transparent glass. The little flowers are layered on using tiny strands of molten glass that is then shaped and encased beneath a layer of clear glass. The bead is then annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for several hours to strengthen the glass, before being cleaned and made into earrings for you to wear.
