High quality Giclée print of Original Fibre Art "Ocean Swell" - FRAMED (see other listings for unframed print option)

This unique artwork is created using layers of hand dyed merino wool fibre and details of silk fibre. It is then captured and reproduced using the highest quality printing techniques and materials.

The process used to create the artwork is not unlike that used to paint a conventional picture. Layers of colour are applied and then details carefully added. The difference being that my "paints" are wool and silk fibres and my hands are the brushes.

"Ocean Swell" is a dynamic piece which I created to represent the play of light on the surface of a constantly moving ocean. The depth and vibrance of the blues and aquamarine make it an eye catching addition to your home. The sheen of the silk fibres lends a truly three dimensional quality to the piece. The capture of this particular type of fibre art is unique to Caroline Burton, Fibre Artist.

Gallery quality A3 Giclée fine art print on 300g, bright white, cotton rag-based water-resistant textured matte archival paper. Printed area is a generous 42 x 31 cm (16 1/2 x 12 1/4"). FRAMED in quality white frame with acid free white mat.
