SOCK YARN: LILAC TIME

Lilac Time is painted in shades of (you guessed it) lilac, pink, lavender and specs of magenta. The yarn will knit up into soft, irregular stripes that don’t need patterning.

This is a soft, fingering-weight superwash sock yarn made from 75% pure wool and 25% nylon for strength and durability.

At 420 metres, one 100g ball is more than enough to knit a medium-sized pair of socks. I have one ball of this colour available.

I take great care to achieve beautiful results that are lightfast and colourfast, but sometimes there is a tiny amount of colour running out of the wool at first, so wash separately a few times and keep your item separately as long as they’re damp.

Cool or warm machine wash, tumble dry on low heat (some shrinkage may occur during tumbling).

My tip: Keep a little of the yarn in a small plastic bag in your sock drawer for future repairs. Knit with 2-2.75mm needles.
