Beautiful small kete handmade from New Zealand harakeke (flax) with distinctive koru detailing on front.
Due to natural variation in the colour of the flax every kete made is 'one of a kind'. A uniquely New Zealand gift to send to friends and family overseas (note: flax is boiled prior to weaving so meets biosecurity requirements).
This kete is 25 x 17 cm (approx) in size.
The strap length is 60 cm (from end to end). This length is suitable for wearing over shoulder and tucking under arm or hand carry. The strap is plaited from four strands of flax resulting in a very neat strong finish.
