Gift from the Sea

I love flax weaving and I love taking photos!
This lovely card is from my You Don't Need A Reason Collection which is perfect to have on hand to send at any time of year or for any occasion.



Gift from the Sea is a 4-corner basket made from ti kouka (cabbage tree). I found the small tree washed up on the beach on an early morning walk and just couldn't let it go to waste. Once I had finished weaving, I thought it was only appropriate to take another photograph, close to the same spot it was found, but this time looking out to Kapiti Island.


The card size is 150 x 105 mm (standard letter size for posting) and is digitally printed on 350 gsm color copy which is FSC certified as a responsible source. It has a side fold and comes with a C6 Kraft (manilla) envelope in a cellophane sleeve. The inside of the card is blank. If you would prefer a white envelope, just let me know.
