Black Wool Scoody

What on earth is a scoody? Also called a snood, it's a hood with a scarf attatched. These have been a rethreads favorite for about 4 years now, and I have refined and reconstructed dozens of jersyes over that time, to create a pretty nice garment (if I do say so myself!)

They have a curved hood, and darts on either side of face, meaning they can fit snuggly around the head. I call this design the "Jean Batten" because they remind me of an aviators hat. (google "Jean Batten photo" to see what I mean.)

There are at least four styling options. Let the scarves hang down, tie them, push the hood back like a scarf (my fave), or wrap it. You 'll find more variations on my facebook page: rethreadsnz

This scoody is a classic black fine wool. It's a beautiful quality, heavier and warmer than the merino ones, yet still has that lovely draping quality. It's a blue-black rather than a brown-black, if that makes any sense. If not, just ignore that. It's black, OK! I've listed it with Rossi as a model - men actually do buy and rock these scoodies - and I need to get this idea out there more visibly.

Measurements:
Length of Hood: 49cm
Depth of Hood: 25cm
Length of Scarves: 54cm
