Harakeke flax flowers make an interesting and very Kiwi alternative to generic fresh flowers from the florist.
Long lasting, they keep their colours well when stored in water, but also dry out to a beautiful golden colour over time. They also mix well, either fresh or dry in displays of fresh flowers for an exciting edge.

Harakeke flowers can make beautiful native bridal bouquets - Or use them dried individually, as friends of mine did for unique place setting tags at a wedding. They are also really lovely when used as a finishing touch on gift wrapping when paired with natural brown paper and raffia or twine.

This listing is for a bunch of woven Harakeke flax flowers woven fresh consisting of :
x10 Putiputi woven flower
x5 Small 'Roses'
x5 Medium 'Roses'
x5 Large 'Roses'

Choose from :
Variegated pink
Variegated green
Mid green
Dark wine (Green/Purple tinged) flax for your woven flowers.

I am happy to mix flax colours, or make them all a particular colour choice.

Photos show an example bunch of freshly woven flowers consisting of five each in Variegated pink and green, with five mixed small and medium mid green roses and ten small and medium mixed 'Wine' coloured flax roses.
I am happy to weave any of the colours in the traditional Putiputi shape or as roses, but if not specified I will make a mixed set for a bunch similar to this one.

NOTE : These flowers will be posted as loose stems for packaging purposes for you to make into a bunch on arrival. Please contact me if you would prefer me to do this step for you - There will be a slightly increased postal cost to pack a made up bunch.

I am more than happy to be contacted if you would like to discuss a custom order of a larger number of either flowers or roses.

I weave these fresh upon order and send them asap in clearance of payment so they reach you in full colour. Note: Over time the colour will fade, but they dry out to a really gorgeous natural golden colour which is just as lovely - the Wine coloured flax will take a while longer to reach this final colour.
