Original Button Necklace, Kati Brown Designs

I've delved into my button collection again and come up with some new button jewellery to give your outfits that stamp of individuality that only comes from original, one-off handmade accessories.
The palette is brown and cream highlighted with shimmering mother-of-pearl buttons. Center-stage is taken by three beautiful buttons I have made with chocolate silk and covered with vintage laces. Most of the buttons in this necklace are vintage, being well over 30 years old, and are enjoying a new life in my jewellery.
I've used non-tarnishing silver art wire to securely combine the buttons into a crescent shape, and hung them on brown satin ribbon to make an eye-catching necklace.
The button bib is about 13cm across. The clasp is a silver toggle set and the overall length is about 45cm.
This necklace will arrive at your place in pretty wrapping to treat you, or so it is ready for you to give as a gift.
