Let the Christmas countdown begin with this quilted advent calendar. Each pocket can be filled with wrapped chocolates, trinkets or other small gifts, and even better, you can re-use this every year.

The 24 pockets are in a random order so children have fun searching for the correct date and reinforce their number learning at the same time.

Calendar length 28 1/2 ", width 21 1/2" and pockets 2 1/2 inches square.

The calendar has a Christmas print on the back and is edged withred satin ribbon. A hanging sleeve has been added to the back to make it easier to put up. Either pin to the wall or insert a wooden rod in the sleeve. The batting is a polyester/cotton blend, and it is quilted in ivory thread.

This is a real heirloom piece that will be brought out year after year and handed down the family. My mother collects these and now has different ones hanging up - much to the amusement and delight of all her grandchildren (and children :))

Machine washable in cold water and hang dry.
