Created from a colour palette of your choice, this temperature scarf records a whole year of daily highs or lows. With just a date dd/mm/yy and a location in New Zealand, I will create a personalised scarf just for you. Scarf measures 320cm in length and is 6cm wide.
The scarves in the pictures are examples of the highest temp (top scarf) and lowest temp (bottom scarf) of the first 365 days of my life (July 1979 onwards). Data is taken from the Ministry for the Environment website records and goes back to 1909. It can be any year of your choice; a birthday, 21st, 60th, wedding, or any other significant day that you want to celebrate and remember.
As these are made to order, a minimum of two weeks to create the scarf is required. Time also depends on any current orders I may be working on, but an estimate will be given at time of order.
Info required from you: A date dd/mm/yy to start from, a location in New Zealand and a choice of colours for the palette. Also, if you prefer wool or acrylic due to allergies. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
