This box is made from Kauri and Rewarewa, two of New Zealand's most beautiful and highly prized native timbers.
The box is a warm gold, with very fine and delicate hatched grain, and the bright sheen and sparkle that Kauri is renowned for (tricky to capture in a photo!).
The box lids are bordered with silver Rewarewa, with beautiful flecked grain patterning.
The box has been lined with fine velvet to protect jewellery pieces, finished with a light wax polish, and is in immaculate, brand new condition.
Over the years I have made and sold many of these in high end galleries. I'm no longer making boxes and only have a couple left in stock, so get in quick if you like it!
