Long leather tassel earring in two yellows
This single long tassel earring is made with thongs cut from cast-off scraps of lightly textured, reconstituted leather in bright yellow and pale yellow, wrapped with bronze-coloured, artist's quality wire, and finished with a matching bronze-coloured ear-hook.
The leather thongs can be easily cut, if desired, to a shorter length, and many interesting effects could be created via layering, alternating diagonal cuts, et cetera.
Total length of the earring is 24cm, and the hand-cut leather strips are approximately 4mm wide.
