Pounamu Paint Set

This little box features a bespoke hand mulled watercolour paint collection made with genuine Pounamu.
This was a special collaboration with British paint makers Wallace Seymour and the Clae Studio to produce artist grade water colour paints from local Aotearoa materials.
The Pounamu dust was gifted to the project by renown Ngāi Tahu Master carver Fayne Robinson.
The box has a 5ml Wallace Seymour Pounamu tube and a Clae made dot card with 3 intense greens to drop into your puddle of Pounamu.
Genuine Pounamu creates a wonderful, very pale earth green that behaves like a Buff Titanium. Fantastic to give a hint of colour or to moderate other colours. The spotting colours use a Pounamu base with rich greens made from Chrome, local red ochre and charcoal. Expect granulation!
They come in a specially created and printed Kraft card gift box.
