Upcycled Chicken Feed Tote Bag
This tote bag is handmade in NZ from a repurposed chicken feed bag.
A must have for every chicken lady (and gent) in your life. They might even gift you some fresh eggs in return!
Great as a shopping bag, tote, or as a small beach bag. If placed on damp ground, the contents will stay dry. The bag is water resistant but anything sopping wet might leak through the stitching. Guaranteed, however, to keep your leeks contained on the way home from the farmer's market. It is longer than most tote bags, so is an excellent choice for all your long market vegetables - leeks, celery, silverbeet, kale, etc.
Would make a great gift for an eco-conscious friend, and can be a conversation-starter about the importance of reducing our reliance on single-use plastic packaging and encourages people to think more creatively about the items they buy and how these can be reused and repurposed.
