Glass-Framed Postage Stamp – Sea Horses, New Zealand
Captured between two pieces of glass, this creation features Sea Horses on a New Zealand stamp.
Constructed using the Tiffany method, both pieces of glass have been hand cut, smoothed, copper-foiled then soldered together using 60/40 lead/tin solder. The wire loops are made from tinned copper with decorative soldered corners and uses a slender chain for hanging. A cowrie shell continues the ocean theme as a moving feature.
Measures 6.5cm in width, 6.5cm in length and 16.5cm in full length, including the chain. The chain can be shortened or removed if preferred, just request and it can happen.
Super-packed in a polystyrene and bubble-wrap sandwich, this can be delivered anywhere within NZ as well as anywhere on the planet. Any questions just ask!
