Aragonite Oasis Terrarium

Aragonite gemstone terrarium: a dazzling, otherworldly creation that resembles a specimen straight from Mars. Its captivating hue is reminiscent of rust.

My Oasis terrariums are One of a kind & completely handmade by me .
They are DRY, meaning NO watering YEYS no dead plants.
The lid comes off for a closer look, & they are completely secure , so if the pesky kitty punts it off your side table it will stay put.

They are made of ~
~Ethically sourced crystals from NZ business's.I hand pick them myself.
~Hand dyed NZ Sphagnum moss.
I use dried Besgrow moss.
(Besgrow Spagmoss is a natural, renewable product harvested sustainably from wetlands on the pristine West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island).
I hand dye the moss with food coloring over a week, Then air dry it in the sun.
~A Hand painted vessel either Vintage or new. I paint each vessel different so they are all unique.

Fact:
Aragonite is a carbonated metamorphous gemstone naturally found in stalactites or around natural hot springs. This form of aragonite is often called floss ferri (“iron flowers”), due to its thin, entwined branch-like crystal formations. Another source of aragonite can be found in the mother-of-pearl lining of mollusk shells.
