Pā o te hā means 'meeting of the life essence' and was designed by my daughter Ariana: The pattern was inspired by a combination of kowhaiwhai (Māori painted ornamentation) Norse and Celtic knotwork designs and represents the coalescence of her Māori and Pākehā ancestry.
