Stained Glass – A Hexagon Celebration
Hexagons in nature are seen in snowflakes, beehives, corals, crystals, and many other biological and non-biological structures.
In celebration of nature, geometry and physics, here we have a collection of blue hexagons in glass of different hues and textures. Featuring a tiny prism at the centre; it’s the kind of prism that throws of little light-fairies and rainbows about the room.
Constructed using the Tiffany method. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, smoothed, copper-foiled then soldered together using 60/40 lead/tin solder. The hanging wire is Tiger Tail.
Measures 7.5cm in width, 7.5cm in length and 16cm in full length, including the Tiger Tail wire.
Super-packed in a polystyrene and bubble-wrap sandwich, this can be delivered anywhere within NZ as well as anywhere on the planet. Any questions just ask!
