UK Sixpence Earrings
I absolutely love the intricate design on these sixpence coins
When heated the metal oxidizes, I've then carefully buffed the design so it pops out. This has given an amazing finish, with so much detail showing through.
These lovelies hang from sterling silver hooks, total length including hooks 3.4cm.
I recycle vintage and scrap sterling silver by melting it down, then forming into wire, strip or sheet. So that it is in keeping with my desire to upcycle and recycle as much as possible.
The dates are random and mixed.
These will rarely need cleaning, when they do use a soft cloth and silver polish.
**Currently posting twice a week**
Like many pieces I create out of vintage or preloved items, they carry signs of a previous well loved life, which makes each piece perfectly imperfect.
Do not wear while swimming, soaking or showering, or spray with perfume etc.
Will come in a gift box, that I have crafted from 80% upcycled materials.
