Ginge's fleece - rich moorit romney/corriedale lambswool raw fleece 500g
Ginge is a moorit (brown) romney with just enough corriedale (1/8) to soften her fleece. We think her hogget fleece is going to be show quality, this is her lamb fleece and it's still lovely. Note that our camera does not show the warmth of moorit colours well - please refer to the pictures of the sheep before and after shearing to see an accurate colour indication. Moorits fade with age, so this rich dark colour is best in the lamb fleece.
This fleece has an average staple length of 7-8cm and would be suitable for carding and long draw spinning for a lofty, fluffy yarn. Expected yield is 70-75%.
