An idea shampoo bar for normal to oily hair and scalp, particularly good if you are on the oily side like myself.

This bar is made with real beer and the scent is great for autumn and winter. Blended with Orange and Cinnamon essential oil, the spicy, warm and fruity aroma will surely bring delight to your senses. The colour of the bar comes from the natural oil, butters and essential oil blend. It is made with 7 hair-loving natural oils and butters, including Camellia, Jojoba and Cocoa butter. Beer shampoo improves shine, strength and softness of the hair. It also promotes scalp health by preventing dry and flaky scalp, reduce excess oil production and hair lose. It is free from the usual chemicals found in the shampoo such as preservatives, fragrances, sulfates, retinyl palmitate (synthetic palm oil).

Saponified oils of Organic Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Organic Jojoba oil, and Organic Camellia Oil and Organic Cocoa Butter.
Essential Oil: Cinnamon, Orange, and Clove

Weight: 80g ± 3g

** Why is Beer Shampoo good for you hair? **
There are many ingredients in beer which help to promote healthy and shiny, great looking hair – vitamin B, E, and C as well as the natural sugar found in beer which strengthens and also helps to tighten your hair cuticles which can create a beautiful, natural looking shine.

** Using Shampoo Bar for the first time? **
If you are switching from chemical-rich shampoos to a natural chemical-free soap bars, you might experience a period of transition/detox where your first wash might be ‘Yuck’ but you should feel better from 2nd or 3rd wash on. You might experience feeling of waxiness for a little while but things should improve soon.

** What does it feel like? How long will it last? What can I do about it? **
There are a couple of reactions that your hair might have, depending on the type of hair you normally have. It might feel super waxy (like mine did on wash 1), greasy, super dry, or a combination of all of these. You’ve got to give your hair some room to breathe and let it work all of those chemicals out. After a few washes, research shows that you’ll adjust and suddenly it will reach a state of equilibrium. You’ll have natural, normal, healthy hair.

** Here’s what you can do in the meantime**
Another reason why your hair might be feeling a bit rubbish during this initial phase is that you’re not completely washing all of the soap out of your hair. I know it seems crazy, but solid shampoo works totally different to shampoo liquid. First of all, natural solid shampoo lacks the sulphates you’re used to that give it that big bubbly lather, so you need to give it an extra rinse to make sure it’s all out. Another great way to make sure that you’ve got rid of all the soapy suds is to use an apple cider vinegar (ACV) rinse (1 part of ACV, 4 part of distilled/filtered water). This will balance out the soap that is naturally an alkali, and it will also give your hair a bit of balancing, nourishing follicle love.

ABOUT US:
Our soap is 100% natural and we select our ingredients carefully and responsibly. Due to the handmade nature, color shades and swirl styles will slightly vary. Each bar is unique.

Soap Use and Care:
1. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent the scent and color from fading.
2. Keep from sitting in water, and let dry between uses to prevent the bar from becoming soft.

About Soaps Scented with Essential Oils:
All-natural, essential oil soaps tend to have a lighter scent than their synthetic and semi-synthetic counterparts. Essential oils are steam distilled from plants while "fragrance" (even "natural fragrance") have been modified and can contain an array of additives and chemicals. Handmade soaps are also more costly to produce than cheaply made commercially manufactured soaps, but we promise the abundance of benefits is worth it.

Please note that essential oils may cause skin sensitization in some individuals. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. This information is provided for reference use only and is not meant to substitute the advice of a licensed health care professional.
