Coffee Table with slab top
Just out of my woodshop! (M Woodworks)
Beautiful natural look Oak and Rimu coffee table.
The top is made out of a White Oak slab from a tree fell in the Canterbury plain. I cut it in half and glued the two pieces together for an amazing mix in grain directions and colors. It has been finished in 5 layers of satin polyurethane varnish.
The support frame is made out of recycled Rimu from a local house destruction, a very well known wood that has a very extensive list of use. It has been finished in Linseed oil.
Dimensions : 119cm long x 45cm wide x 42cm high.
