Māui and his four brothers, story telling resource

Handpainted wooden small world characters for creative role play and pūrākau. Each wooden character is individually painted using nontoxic paints and sealed using polyurethane and modpodge sealer. These are 6.5cm in height. I use these for storytelling at group times in my work as an ECE kaiako. They are wonderful for allowing tamariki to explore cultural narratives and oral story telling. Each of my characters are unique, no two are identical.
