Patu Threepence Coin Studs

Sweet Patu studs, these have been hand sawn from 1946 Threepence coins.
Threepence coins from 1946 back contain 50% sterling silver.
All cut edges have been smoothed and polished.
I have added patina to bring out the intricate design on each patu.
Sterling silver earring posts and butterflies, 1cm across. Clean with a soft cloth and silver polish.
**Currently posting twice a week**
Like many pieces I create out of vintage items, they carry signs of a previous well loved life, which makes each piece perfectly imperfect.
Do not wear while swimming, soaking or showering, or spray with perfume etc.
These gorgeous earrings will come in a gift box, that I have crafted from 80% upcycled materials.
