King Protea is part of a series of works showcasing the beauty and diversity of New Zealand nature. Having the largest flowering head of the protea family, it is very distinctly shaped and striking to look at. The Protea family itself originates from South Africa but has been established in New Zealand since the 1920s, attracting many a native bird (See 'Kowhai and Tui'). This particular print would suit a white matt border and thin black frame or timber frame.
Made using high quality ink on 300gsm Advance Laser thick paper. Colour all the way to the edge.
